I have a lot of style icons, but one of my all time favourites is the character Selina Kyle from Tim Burton's Batman Returns. Don't get me wrong, when she changes into Catwoman, she's a total bad-ass, but her cutesy pastel vintage styled apartment sends me all giddy (I avert my eyes when she smashes it all up - I hate that part) One day, I'll have my very own Hello There neon lamp - just need to find a company crazy enough to make me one from film stills.

This apartment is reason enough to never marry and insist on living alone... I don't think the boyfriend would be down with it somehow, he has enough of an issue understanding why I want nice vintage china on our dresser rather than his collection of pipes and tobacco!
